Senior Test Engineer

The role

You’ll lead testing on our client engagements. Some clients need a test strategy from scratch; others have thousands of tests and still don’t trust a release. You’ll find where the real risk is, build the automation that covers it, and leave the client’s team able to keep it going.

What you’ll do

• Assess a client’s testing and release process, and recommend what to change first.
• Design test strategies across unit, integration, end-to-end, performance and security testing.
• Build fast, reliable automated suites and the CI pipelines that run them.
• Do the exploratory testing that a script never would.
• Coach client engineers to write tests they’d want to read.

What we’re looking for

• Several years in test or quality engineering, with strong automation skills in at least one mainstream language.
• Experience setting test strategy, not just following one.
• You’re comfortable working directly with clients and explaining risk plainly.
• An interest in security and resilience testing.
